GBIncantation homes acquired my property… Incantation homes acquired my property some time at the end of 2023. In January 2024 I was sent an email stating my rent would increase from $2100 to $2520. I let them not I would not be signing a lease with them. I was contacted by an individual in April 2024 who wanted to negotiate the rent increase in an attempt to get us to stay. I told him we would not be doing that. Now from January until April we did not have access to the digital copy of our lease because they did not import them over from the previous property management company. I took possession of the property in May of 2023 but the lease they had stated my agreement was up in April of 2024 not May 2023. Long story boring after lots of unanswered emails and phone calls invitation homes raised my last months rent to $2520 and added an additional $504 “month to month” rent on top of that. I have been a renter in seven different states over the last 16 years and never once have I had a month to month rent tacked on. I would not recommend this company to anyone

GBSince April 15 I call and let the… Since April 15 I call and let the company know that the well water system has went out again. It’s April 22 and I still have no running water in the property. Don’t know what else I need to do for this issue to be resolved. This is very frustrating and disappointing plus disgusting service at the end of the day. No one ever know anything not ever has an answer about this issue and it’s very disappointing right now with everything and how the process is very unsatisfied to complete in a matter of timeframes.

GBResearch Their Lawsuit! Invitation Homes took over Streetlane Properties during our last three months of our lease and we wish we got out sooner! The move-out appointment was insulting and they took almost all of our security deposit. Mind you, we had a month buffer to our new place and they still had the audacity to charge us for petty “damages” like a sink draining slow and gutters not being spotless. Beware that the utilities bill also doesn’t add up and you will be paying well above what you actually use (confirmed through us moving out a month early!) Please stay away from them, it’s not worth it.

GBMoveout Charges against my security… Moveout Charges against my security deposit. I rented for 3 years with invitation homes and when it was time to move out due to an outrageous price increase I did so by all of their guidelines. I completed the pre-move-out inspection with their inspector. I completed promptly anything that was asked of me. When I received my moveout statement I was charged for all kinds of ridiculous stuff. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and with invitation homes.

GBThis company is a bunch of thieves!! This company is a bunch of thieves!!! My mom was trying to apply for a home, but couldn't get my brother verified. She tried and tried. She contacted the company that told her to just make another account for him, which she did several times, but each time was the same result. She called again to try and get it sorted out, and she was told that a manager from the company would contact her and help her. But nobody ever did. While waiting for someone to call or help with something, they just decided to cancel the application and take the $150 she had paid for her and the other two applicants. These people are just a bunch of thieves!!! Dishonest, lying thieves. Not to mention that it says that you're responsible for pest control when the California law states it is the responsibility of the home owner. They go about buying up all the houses, and then don't let you even finish the application, or help you to do so in any way!
