After using Liberty Mutual for over 14… After using Liberty Mutual for over 14 years, we called and asked if we were eligible for any types of discounts because 1) my husband and I had just retired and 2) we never missed a payment nor ever put in a claim. We were told no. So, we decided to shop around and found a policy for three vehicles, a house, camper, and motorcycle for about $800 less. We called Liberty and told them we were going to cancel our policy; they, in turn, said that since we just paid for the month of March, we should wait until April 6th for the next billing cycle. So, we made the end date on the 6th. Lo and behold, we get a bill for $495.00, and after calling Liberty, we were told that we pay our insurance a month in arrears and because we live in North Carolina, they can charge us a cancellation fee. After going back and forth, we are still flabbergasted with how we are being treated. Our new insurance, Allstate, is also shocked that Liberty Mutual would do this. Buyers beware!

Better insurance coverage is available at other companies! We were customers of liberty mutual for over twenty years which is my mistake. Should have checked with other insurance companies sooner. Come to find out that LM was charging us for years at rates five times more than the average quote I received from others companies. The other insurance companies were offering better coverage as well. There is no account oversight so they just keep increasing your rates ALOT! You’d think customer loyalty would mean something but not at LM! Lost this customer for good and warn everyone to beware. Now I understand why most reviews of LM are much lower than other companies.

Rude, disrespectful threaten to cancel when I'm paid? On a scale from 0 to 10, and zero being the worst, then this company rates a minus zero for customer service. Last Friday Patrick: if you don't pay your premium by the 10th even though your policy is good though the 24th I will cancel you for non payment ? NJDOBI thinks NOT. Don extremely unprofessional. For new auto the woman who basically told me to be quiet and raised her voice to the point I had to hang up. Tells you how important you will be as a customer. Gets worse. Amanda " weeeellll if yo had given e your name and information so I could pull you up in the system I would have transferred you to manager. That is who Ismael said he would transfer me directly to a Manager. SHE DID NOT TRANSFER ME. Then comes Sofia oh dear God. She was in escalations!!!! after listening to this litany of horrible rudeness she asks" WHAT IS IT I CAN DO FOR YOU???? Really. She was colder than an iceberg. I hope anyone reading this and observing the whopping 2 star rating knows this is not a company you want to give your money to. I was not even calling with a claim or complain and I went through this nightmare. God forbid calling in a claim. Overall I would pay more and lose the verbal abuse, incompetence and unprofessional conduct. Notice there is no option to reach the CEO of this company. RED Flag

Need some Insurance people to help me… Need some Insurance people to help me out. Have been with Liberty Mutual for over 8yrs Auto and Homeowners no claims perfect driving record,, no accidents.cars 12years old paid for. They raised my auto premium 500.00 and my home owners premium 600.00 for the exact same coverage complete bs it. ls Livid and the clown on the phone says "ohh everything is expensive now" but cant justify the enormous increase. Any help would be appreciated its sad i stayed loyal to them this long. lts time to make a change with a company that respects customers.

this company shouldn't be in business… this company shouldn't be in business worst customer service, worst customer treatment, highest prices worst coverage, 5 years over paying for auto and house insurance I would call to find out how I would safe money and they would come up with some reason why I shouldn't change anything, I received a letter from allstate that was god sent spoke to a wonderful lady her name is Lynn and not only she cut my bill in more then half but I have more coverage if you want to safe and have a company that cares call her 2158522648
