GBIf I could give Liberty Mutual a negative score I would If I could give Liberty Mutual a negative score I would. We had water damage at our home and are fighting with the adjuster, (Elizabeth) that has been dealing with our claim. We are on our 3rd agent with no explanation why and now I have had to resend and explain to Elizabeth, where to find the information on their portal. It has been 5 months and still have not received a settlement. The customer service is horrible.

GBRude, disrespectful threaten to cancel when I'm paid? On a scale from 0 to 10, and zero being the worst, then this company rates a minus zero for customer service. Last Friday Patrick: if you don't pay your premium by the 10th even though your policy is good though the 24th I will cancel you for non payment ? NJDOBI thinks NOT. Don extremely unprofessional. For new auto the woman who basically told me to be quiet and raised her voice to the point I had to hang up. Tells you how important you will be as a customer. Gets worse. Amanda " weeeellll if yo had given e your name and information so I could pull you up in the system I would have transferred you to manager. That is who Ismael said he would transfer me directly to a Manager. SHE DID NOT TRANSFER ME. Then comes Sofia oh dear God. She was in escalations!!!! after listening to this litany of horrible rudeness she asks" WHAT IS IT I CAN DO FOR YOU???? Really. She was colder than an iceberg. I hope anyone reading this and observing the whopping 2 star rating knows this is not a company you want to give your money to. I was not even calling with a claim or complain and I went through this nightmare. God forbid calling in a claim. Overall I would pay more and lose the verbal abuse, incompetence and unprofessional conduct. Notice there is no option to reach the CEO of this company. RED Flag

GBBeware! Thievery. Purchased homeowners with LM when we bought our house about 6 1/2 years ago. At that time it was around $2400/year. It has gone up DRAMATICALLY year after year, currently at $6794, AND just got a notice they were going to raise it another $2k. We have never had a claim. Unreal. Just switched to another company with the same coverage for $2700. LM's exorbitant rate increases should be illegal.

GBWhat a horrible and dishonest company What a horrible and dishonest company. Their client caused an accident that wrecked our car. Liberty Mutual accepted liability, then hired an appraiser that was very dishonest in his appraisal. For the comps, he used cars at local dealerships, but he falsified the sales prices. Each car he used as a comp was selling for 2-4k higher than what he listed. This caused our appraisal to come in 2-4k lower than the actual cash value of the car. Very dishonest company all the way around.

GBLong time customer - never again! After being a customer for over 5 years, I can honestly say I will NEVER go back. They decided to increase my auto policy by more than $350 (over 20%) and the answer as to why was "because those are the rates" and offered no solution to it despite me calling and asking to speak to supervisors. They told me they "valued" me as a loyal customer but did not do a thing to show it. I told them that I was going to look at other companies and they didn't even try to stop me. I got the EXACT same coverage for the same time period with another company (as a brand new customer) for over $1,200 LESS than they were quoting for a renewing customer. I generally don't like to write bad reviews, but I felt this was very much needed because I do not want any other customer to go through this mess.
