GBI LOVE APHW! I LOVE APHW!! As as new homebuyer, I had several issues. The refrigerator, icemaker, washer and drier. And a few other things. OHMYGOODNESS they took care of everything!! I received back way more than the one-year warranty. I am SO GRATEFUL that I chose this company!! Thank you!!

GBTotal scam Total scam. Hidden rules and deceitful advertising. Everyone can see your award winning customer service by reading your reviews. I have worked with 3 home warranty companies in the past ten years and they are by far the worst.

GBThere is a reason why customers pay for insurance... coverage. This company can be improved by actually covering appliance issues. We purchased a new home; within a couple of months the most important things went out, our fridge and the AC unit. No fridge or AC during the summer with a young teen, preteen and an infant. Obviously, we were not living in the home long enough for the issues to be our fault. When I inquired about actually speaking with someone that should have been able to help with alternative options, I was sent a cancellation letter with no one to speak with as opposed to a representative attempting to work on fixing the issue. I should have done more research on this company. A waste of money, will not be renewing =) Also, these reviews are deplorable.

GBStraight up fraud- don't even bother APHW stated that they would only pay 200.00 of the 550.00 repair. As I questioned this, the warranty representative stated that 200.00 is the maximum that would be paid for the repair. I looked over my contract and nowhere does it state maximum paid prices or does it have a menu of component repairs and prices. I bought this contract with the assurance that only the deductible would have to be paid upon a given repair. This company is misleading their customers.

GBScam When I bought my house, my realtor bought this as a gift for me. I thought this was nice of her until my washing machine broke. Called the repairman like they told me to. He said it was unfixable due to the age of the machine and no parts available anymore. APHW disagreed and said parts were available. The repairman charged me $110 for the service call and APHW offered me $142 to buy a new washer. I bought a new washer and went to submit my service bill and new washer receipt. I was told I needed to have the new washer professionally installed and to send in the bill to get my $142. Are you kidding me to have the washer professionally installed? All you do is plug it into he outlet and connect the hot and cold water hoses, anyone can do that by themselves! It would have cost me over $100 to have a plumber come to my house to do that. So now I would have spent over $200 to get $142 back. I sure learned my lesson on home warranties.
