Amtrust is disgustingly greedy and… Amtrust is disgustingly greedy and operates their business in a repulsive manner. I obtained a business insurance policy from them in 2022, only to be hit with an audit demanding $51,000 in premiums. Despite faithfully paying $500 per month, they insisted I also insure my contractors, even though they are contractors for a reason. My business had no issues, no disputes, and no one filing claims against me. The agency I worked with, Newfront, is equally terrible and conveniently failed to mention the premium audits before I signed the contract. I have disputed the audit, but they refuse to provide a clear explanation for this exorbitant premium. I have involved a lawyer in this matter. This company is utterly atrocious, incapable of effective communication when they demand over $50,000 from me. I will never use them again. Stay as far away as humanly possible.

DO NOT TRUST THESE CRIMINALS Absolutely terrible experience dealing with AmTrust. They quoted us around $780 for a 1-year policy and then at the end of the year conducted an audit in which they completely disregarded our actual payroll and decided they would multiply it by 10X and are trying to bill me an extra $8,000+. Completely criminal and a nightmare to deal with. STAY AWAY.

I carried a workers comp policy with… I carried a workers comp policy with this company. After 3 years with them and never making any claims, Amtrust decided I owed them $14,000.00. Huge amount of money for my little business. Even after providing documentation and presenting our State's insurance laws they refused to back off and insisted I owed them this money. They threatened, harassed and bullied me. I finally had to get an attorney. After weeks of fighting with this unscrupulous company, their own attorneys realized they had no grounds for trying to coerce this money from me and it was eventually dropped. Though not until I had spent money on my own attorney and invested hours and hours of time. Run from this awful and deceitful company. If you do business with them, it will be a major regret!!! We are filing complaints with state insurance commissions....they need regulated.

NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY Disingenuous, unprofessional and unhelpful. Terrible quality customer service and quality of employee. No point expecting a response from anyone, it takes weeks and weeks. They do not care about their customers at all.

Scam scum company that should not be in… Scam scum company that should not be in business - will take your money, double charge you, then audit with additional charges sending to a collections company. Never would recommend this company. Use other options
