GBAvoid this company at all costs Avoid this company! I made a simple insurance claim for storm damage over three months ago, and they have still not even processed the paperwork. Every time I ring they say they have a backlog of claims to get through and that they will prioritise my claim - this is to fob me off, because nothing ever happens. The original water damage has now worsened because of their unwillingness to deal with my claim. I am frustrated and angry, and will have to make a complaint to the financial ombudsman as a last resort.

GBBait and switch which cost thousands of… Bait and switch which cost thousands of dollars! We were originally charged a fee for not agreeing to an audit. The reason we didn't agree is due to the financial reports they wanted to access along with private company information. Our charges were originally $3,000. In order to reduce the $3k fee were instructed to agree to the audit. We agreed and proceeded to pay the reduced amount of $2,000. Once the audit was completed we were billed again but this time it was for $30,000! Once we questioned this new bill it was reduced to $11,000. We were referred to Amtrust by ADP Insurance dept. No one at Amtrust and ADP Insurance is helping sort these fees and the misguidance we've received.

GBNEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY Disingenuous, unprofessional and unhelpful. Terrible quality customer service and quality of employee. No point expecting a response from anyone, it takes weeks and weeks. They do not care about their customers at all.
Recent customer.
GBAwful awful company Awful awful company. Will do everything to avoid paying a claim, even on a legitimate case. The Compliants department are no better, ignore your question and chasers. With no means of escalations or resolution Would rate it 0 stars if I could. Terrible

AUInsurance Claim - Excessive Delays and Disputed Re-instatement Be very concerned if AmTrust International is your insurance underwriter! My house was impacted by escaped water late December 2022. Building insurance claim lodged with AmTrust International on 3 Jan 2023. It took several weeks for AmTrust to assign a loss adjustor to visit the property given the volume of impacted properties from a deep freeze across the UK. The initial Sedgwick loss adjustor appointed was great. However, 6 months into the restoration, a new Sedgwick loss adjuster was assigned. The entire restoration has been on hold since then. Items previously considered acceptable to Sedgwick and AmTrust are being challenged. It has now been more than 1 year and I have had to engage lawyers and tried contacting the CEO, directly. The Financial Ombudsman is the next stop following AmTrust not addressing a formal complaint lodged 11 weeks ago. Meanwhile my house sits as an empty shell with no insulation, that I am paying to heat to avoid repeat issues. AmTrust International should be ashamed of themselves and I would seek building insurance elsewhere if you can.
