Its now september Its now september; this began in may. home service club still won't replace freezer, even though two of their technicians said freezer is shot. And now home service won't even return phone calls. we are forced to get a lawyer and report to better business bureau and california dept of insurance. What are we to think? what can we do? we are now facing an organization that appears to be in scam mode. we hope this reaches people thinking of joining home service club.

Company does NOT pay contractors Company does NOT pay contractors. Do not work for Choice, Home Service Club, Home Warranty of America or their new company name Rely Home. They gave my company authorization to make a repair for $765 but only paid $165 on the invoice. When I inquired they closed my contractor account and placed payments for all outstanding invoices on hold for 180 days. It has now been over a year and they say the policy is 365 days before they will escalate my payment request and 6-12 months before a possible resolution. This company scams homeowners out of money for contracts and contractors out of HARD earned money. I have paid out for technicians labor and parts to perform services for them that I will likely never be paid for. We are talking thousands of dollars.

Wish I could give them negative stars Wish I could give them negative stars. Bunch of crooks. Don’t know how I fell for them. Absolutely ridiculous service. I already put in a cancellation as of today. They deducted whatever they paid me from my remaining refund. Any time you put in a request, it takes days and then send someone who is not experienced at all. And then deny your claim. This is their process. They claim best on their website for many years. B.S. Absolutely absurd.

How to get duped When I only could give 0 stars – Here’s why: In 10/3023 I bought 2 five-year HSC warranty contracts for 2 rentals. At one rental I filed a claim with HSC on Monday, January 8th 2024 in the morning, because the water heater seemed to be not working. A technician will contact me, HSC said. When NO technician contacted me, on Tuesday I called the technician’s company and asked, when they will inspect the water heater and the answer was: Friday. I told them that is not acceptable to have no hot water for so long in the winter. Finally, they sent a technician on Wednesday. Thursday, I asked HSC, they declined the claim because of corrosion. The technician told me, that he didn’t mention corrosion in his report. It is not acceptable to take so much time for a decision - and for no corrosion stated in the report. I canceled the contract. For the other rental I canceled the contract as well – with no claim, because I don’t need a contract for nothing. I paid for 2 five-year contracts for two rentals $3,899.70 and after only 3 month and no approved claim they only refunded $2,313.96. The difference is and I paid: $1,585.74. That’s why I can NOT recommend Home Service Club.

The airconditioner in my mom's house… The airconditioner in my mom's house has been acting so crazy. We couldn't increase the temperature, so we've been freezing for days! We called HSC when we realized things weren't going to get better, and luckily they were able to send a contractor quick. Luckily, this was included in our HSC home coverage. I've learned its both efficient and practical to avail of this company's services.
