GBWill never use Universal insurance⦠Will never use Universal insurance again after a major storm event and losing power my sump pump broke and lost everything in my basement. first they tell me im covered and then deny my claim after i have already had servpro come out to help thinking i am covered... so now not only am i out everything in my basement plus the repairs needed i have a bill from servpro that i cant pay thanks Universal.... You pay for insurance and when you actually need it guess what DENIED... They are here to take your money and when you need them deny... If you are thinking of using this company do yourself a favor and dont do it.

GBThis company's practices in settling⦠This company's practices in settling claims is criminal. I lost an entire condo of furniture, cabinets, bathroom vanities, carpet, etc due to water damage and mold and they paid 40,000 against coverage of 200,000. Mediation a joke. Going to court. Do not rely in this company for your home owners insurance.

GBHate this company!! Hate this company!!! Made my life a nightmare for over 6 years for nothing. Could have settled my claim... instead gave me the run around, I hired lawyers, my hone was burned but fixable, went to trial and won!!! Too bad the home has been torn down by the city, my mortgage went into foreclosure and I literally moved 15 times, sometimes living in a storage unit. Shame on them!!!! I purchased my policy from a licensed agent, I know nothing about insurance and they had the nerve to tell me to read the fine print. Karma.

GBIf could rate less would If could rate less would. I paid for full-year coverage, received the policy, and within 30 days a notice of cancellation was issued without contacting the policy owner, horrible customer service experience, and run around after run around. No claim, or change in resident. To make matters worse, received a partial refund of the full policy payment.

GBRUN FAST To make a long story short RUN & I do mean FAST...they refused to come out to investigate my claim the adjuster even told me if I don't with draw mt claim they would raise my rate and then drop me while will be hard ro me to get home owners insurance or it would b extremely expensive...I got scared and dropped my claim. Then...I reopened my claim a lead person over there name Lisa told the electrician to preserve my property and send in pictures and all receipts now they will not pay the claim.eveything they asked for I provided...if what I needed done if they didn't cover it all they had to do was tell me. The adjuster never returned my calls nor did the supervisor. Then they said ok we will pay for the damages I questioned the deductible because my claim had been going on since September 2023 and now we are in the moth of November...they called back and said NO so I just said ok well I guess I'm stuck but the electrician will at lease get his money his bill was $8,050.00 they said we are not paying that either...how do we start a class action lawsuit. I now have a bill for $8,050.00 that they told him if he fix it they will THEY LIED
