I can't understand why someone would… I can't understand why someone would choose to bank here unless it is super convenient. The incompetency level of some of their staff is breathtaking, which Golden One doesn't seem concerned about. I can't recommend this bank.

Disloyal Golden One will deny you a loan no matter how long you have been with them or how good your credit is. They are not loyal to their customers. We never once caused them to lose money, we did have a few credit issues a long time ago because of an illness but credit is great now. Being a customer for over 30 years has no bearing. Just unbelievable, do yourself a favor and pick a Credit Union that actually cares about its own customers. Had no problem getting a loan elsewhere.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I had $1200 taken from my account on 6/21. A joint check was deposited about a day before. I called on 6/22, they explained and told me a copy check was issued and sent to me within 5 business days. Confirmed my shipping address. 5 business days pass by...nothing. called on 6/30, they told me there is a delay in the USPS mail and it could be 7-10 business days confirmed my address again. 10 business days pass by NOTHING. called again on 7/6, got the call escalated to Irene, I asked for the check to be sent to a branch near me. I expressed my frustration to Irene she did not care, finally gave me an extension, and told me to call on Thursday,7/8, so we can 3-way call the bank because it should be there on Friday 7/9. Called no answer, left VM, no callback. Called their CS line, the guy told me the notes said I need to wait until Monday 7/12 and that it should be there no later than that. Monday no call from the branch as I'm desperately waiting. Called today Tuesday 7/13, to find out the branch has the check since Saturday and called me that day?! no, they did not. Why would I not answer or call back as I'm waiting for this $1200 check?? The lady I spoke to did not care as she was "just the messenger". So extremely upset over this situation. This company could care less

Disappointed Disappointed - (Shaw/41n Fresno Branch) Opened acct, 3 weeks later accessed it w/my card just to get a balance & it gave me $20 which made me not have enough to pay my rent. Waited til Monday to deposit it back into my account & report the issue in which they shrugged it off. A couple days later I received a letter not only was I overdrawn but I also owed a fee for being overdrawn. I went down to the branch & they explained that someone deposited a check into my account when the bank realized it was erroneously deposited into the wrong account they and the bank that issued the check requested it be extracted from my account. So in essence it was extracted twice making my account go negative. They stated they would correct it but I would need to pay the fee first I told them your CRAZY this whole thing was the banks error and went back/forth w/her on the issue. Finally they said they would take care of that as well. After everything was complete I went to the teller to close my account out. I reported it & they contacted me in regards to what happened & stated, “That would not happen at our bigger branch”. No apology, just they wanted me stay with them & bank at the main/bigger branch. I told them there crazy both banks are related I will NEVER bank here & I will be warning others. In a little over 3-weeks not only did they turn my life upside down but they were reluctant to fix the issue and wanted me to pay fees on their errors. I’d give 0 stars but your not allowed in here to do less than 1. CRAZY experience, DONT bank here. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED.

Great People / Website Updates I have had nothing be great experiences with the branch's and customer service calls I had with them. The drawbacks I have with them is the mobile banking system being very outdated. the website is great but when you get to mobile banking it is very clunky.
