GBHorrible customer service left me without my money Earlier this year SBB migrated to a new banking website. For weeks their system was down and I could not access my statements or the bill pay service. Then they shut off access to the mobile app and I have no way to access my funds. I am unable to log in on the new website or the new mobile app, and I can't even re-register my account. I have called customer service numerous times but no one answers the phone. Absolutely horrible customer service; borderline criminal since they have hijacked my funds and are not giving me access to my account for 4 months.

GBImpossible to Access Online We tried to use Small Business Bank for an early stage startup. It worked fine until we brought in an accountant who needed to have access to the account. Unfortunately, at that point, everything started to break. Each time he tried to get into the account, there was a new challenge question. Finally, the account even got locked out by even the account owner. We had to move our funds just to be able to do routine banking transactions. Not a great experience.

GBCan't think of any reason to look elsewhere. Have been with SBB for several years now, and am still delighted with their service. No nonsense bank. Good people. Fast service. Responsive to all my needs and questions. Simple and secure online banking interface. Everything I've needed to run both of my micro businesses. Can't think of any reason to look elsewhere.

GBHow does this bank keep showing up on… How does this bank keep showing up on "best of" lists? The website looks like something I made in 7th grade tech class. There's no clear instructions about depositing a check online or even any real indications about how to handle money. Creating an account is frustrating-- you need to deposit 5 dollars to get started, but can only call to do that, but can only do that by speaking to a banker, and even when you catch them during business hours, they may just tell you your request can't be processed but then call you the next day? Seriously. These big business sites obviously don't have the small business experiences in mind when they put this nonsense at the top of their lists.

GBAlmost painless Almost painless. My loan officer was very kind, understanding, then quickly worked to determine how she might help me. I had her full attention, until my business was completed. I felt quit comfortable as I was walked thru the process.
