AUDon't waste your time Don't waste your time: you'll be asked a million questions and be encouraged to do so by a positive introductory phone call - but that doesn't mean Grasshopper Bank will proceed to open your account. In my case, despite $75,000+ in idle balances and no debt , they decided they wouldn't. And then they refused to delete the confidential business information I provided. As I said, don't waste your time. Grasshopper? NOHOPER!!!

GBOnline documentation is terrible and… Online documentation is terrible and difficult to find. There seems to be almost no help content. I MUCH prefer to help myself rather than contact support- it's always faster. Example- I could not find instructions for connecting Venmo. I found a couple of cryptic paragraphs hidden in a FAQ doc, but there were no actual instructions for doing it. When I did contact support by phone, the call was answered quickly by a native English speaker who walked me through the setup. Your great phone support may have prevented me from opening an account elsewhere.

GBThey closed our bank account for No… They closed our bank account for No reason and keep our money for about a month until we got the FDIC involved. Shady bank over $100,000 would have been stolen from them

GBExcellent customer service for small business owners Grasshopper's phone based customer service is the best I've run across in years. Never an automated machine, always a person - and in my experience dealing with them so far, always a knowledgeable, helpful, and patient person at that.

GBBad for complex banking Grasshopper is really good for basic banking needs but the bank is unprepared for medium to large complex business needs. My account was frozen during a critical wire transfer. It took 2 days and 5 hours on the phone with customer support to complete. I will be closing my business account and going to a more established bank.
