Highly recommended US company with human staff in NY that pick up the phone/talk on video, even for client on-boarding. Simple account was all our fund needed, so completely satisfied with the features of the service. Highly recommended especially to companies/teams outside the US who would like a US current account.

Easy Setup, but Issues The setup for my business account was quite simple and the customer support response time is excellent. However, the website leaves a bit to be desired. I am fairly computer literate, but it is just not intuitive especially when trying to open a subaccount. I actually gave up trying and will just use my single account while I decide whether or not to stay with Grasshopper. Also, the time it takes for funds to show up in the account is unreasonable in this day and age. I understand Grasshopper is trying to protect itself, but 5 days for a mobile deposit is ridiculous.

Bad for complex banking Grasshopper is really good for basic banking needs but the bank is unprepared for medium to large complex business needs. My account was frozen during a critical wire transfer. It took 2 days and 5 hours on the phone with customer support to complete. I will be closing my business account and going to a more established bank.

Excellent customer service for small business owners Grasshopper's phone based customer service is the best I've run across in years. Never an automated machine, always a person - and in my experience dealing with them so far, always a knowledgeable, helpful, and patient person at that.
