GBwhaleys service review I have been at cape fear now for about 7 years and throughout this time I have called about Whaley food service to repair different units in out dietary department or I may have had to order some parts and Whaley has always been very good in service and very professional. I would not hesitate to call on Whaley again . I would like to say thanks for always being there for us.

GBVery disappointed Just a bad experience from beginning to end. It took 2 months to fix a simple repair job on a 2 door freezer. I kept calling to see when a technician was going to show up to finish the job and they would set a date and not show. This happened 3-4 times. Weeks would go by. Finally got the general manager on the phone and he said he would take care of it and also adjust the bill due to all the issues. Bill came without adjustment. I called the Charlotte office to talk through this issue and the lady said she would talk to general manager and get back to me. Still haven't heard back and it's been weeks. I would be happy to talk with someone who cares. Not sure anyone does at this location. We have experienced similar issues from the Greenville, SC branch. GBThis company is awful This company is awful. Called them out to fix a freezer and they charged me close to $1000 and it did not work. They fixed it three times (and charged each time they came out) and my product was ruined. Ended up having to threaten to sue them to get there insurance company information. Called out another company and the repair guy said that everything Whaley did was wrong and a waste of money He said the condenser was toast and could not hold a charge. He recommended trashing the freezer and did not charge me for a service call. Whaley stopped taking our calls.

GBService gave wrong diagnostic and charged ,$150.00 without checking the refrigerator. He just looked at the unit and suggested a new compressor and condenser. I replaced thermostat and it cost $89.00 I did the repair myself and the unit is working fine the thermostat was replaced for $89.00. Your Repairman was just anxious to get the service charge of a $149.00 and leave. What a ripoff? Sorry it was a very bad experience.

GBTechnician Cyrus Cyrus was prompt and courteous while troubleshooting the reach in cooler. diagnosed the problem and returned 2 days later installed new part and checked operation of equipment. Cyrus then this past Wednesday to finalize a new Avenger dish washing machine and perform a factory check and performance procedure. Cyrus shows his competence and knowledge. Very good tech. Steve
