GBI had a problem with water quality so… I had a problem with water quality so dropped Swell a quick email to ask for advice. They were quick to reply and their advice was given freely and simple to understand. Can't speak highly enough of the professional way they responded. Kevin Bowran

GBExcellent customer service Excellent customer service. When a fish tank unfortunately arrived smashed I was able to contact the company via phone call and a very helpful member of staff organised for a new one to be delivered the next day. Not only was a new tank sent but the whole kit (filter, heater, lights etc.) and within the space of less than 24 hours :)

GBPoor packaging on glass aquariums. i received an aquarium in poorly packaged condition for such a fragile item. We all know how badly parcels are handled on delivery so this should be factored in with fragile items. its like all they have/allowed to pack with is a few balls of rolled paper, which is a bit laughable around a glass tank. The first aquarium arrived and as i opened the box i noticed somebody had just shoved a few rolls of the paper down the sides and nothing protecting any impact on the top or bottom of the box so all that is between a glass aquarium and impact is a sheet of cardboard. So when opening the box i wasnt suprised to find it smashed. i issued an exchange, i waited a week and then emailed to ask when the new aquarium was arriving, only to be told nobody had dealt with the exchange, it happens but poor again . No info was given on what to do with the smashed aquarium either and its contents so it sat there for 10 days waiting for an exchange so again poor service. A new one arrived finally and left me with the smashed tank. The delivery was an even poorer packaged replacement that was unsurprisingly even more smashed aquarium than the last one. i have now two smashed aqauriums to deal with and an angry customer. Selling aquariums packaged like this seems like madness, the percentage that arrives damaged must be huge . Just stick some foam around the bloody corners, most do. It may seem like an expense for some pen pushers but you now have a dissatisfied customer with two smashed tanks and a refund to be issued while i purchase it elsewhere and hope for more care in the packing department. As a regular customer i feel Swell has been great service for years but if they send tanks out packed like this then ill look elsewhere.

GBLate Delivery Comlaint My order included a fee for next day delivery. The order didn't arrive next day so I informed the supplier and asked for refund of the fee. I received an email next working day saying the refund had been arranged and Klarna confirmed this would be issued within 3-5 working days. The mark of a good company for me is how customer complaints are dealt with and Swell UK Ltd dealt with my complaint brilliantly. David
