Easy, good looking, and well worth the money. The product actually gives me peace of mind. I can access everything easily from my phone or from the touchpad screen that looks good. The customer service has been excellent thus far. The salesman was a nice young man who was great with my daughter (6 month old). The installer was prompt, professional, and efficient. Never sign with NorthStar We were not told we were signing a 5 year contract, something we NEVER have/would have done for something other than something like a car loan. NORTHSTAR FRAUD As a retired combat veteran an# cancer survivor, I thought I'd seen it all! This company is a menace ro Capitalism but fair practices. I've request a cancelation of services only to later found out they sold my account ro FORTIVA RETAIL CREDIT.

Poor communication with installers. Unable to install system in one visit. Installment of system became too complicated. Northstar outsources to companies that are not kept informed. Installment should be done in one visit. We kept getting the "run around". Very frustrated so we cancelled our account. Will chose a more reputable company.

Auto-renew contracts without notice … Auto-renew contracts without notice should be illegal. Got stuck into an extra 18-month contract paying double the amount we would be paying with a competitor. So after 5 years, now stuck for another year and a half. Won't forget to send that written notice (that we weren't even aware of) this time.
