Terrible customer service was a customer for 6 years, when it came time to cancel my service due to divorce, etc they charged me $750 since the contract wasn't fulfilled. The company has no sympathy for people who lose their house, can't afford a mortgage anymore and then add a $750 fee to top off the insult of being broke. What crap! I will never refer anyone to ADT/Protection 1 again. What happened to treating people with respect instead of gouging them regardless?

"Activated", yet unprotected... After getting confirmation of being active and ready for protection, my pets recently set off a false alarm. That's when I find out I'm really not on the grid and the police was not called. On the one hand, it's good the pooch set the alarm off so I could realize I really wasn't being protected. Yet, the initial peace of mind I had went straight out the window, like my possessions with my recent burglary.

Poor Customer Service I set up the account only one month ago and I am so fed up with all the mess up and confusions, such as a broken sensor, wrong bill, numerous calls to schedule services, and the service person didn't show up for an appointment. You name it!

Bad decision System was installed about a month ago. It has not worked reliably since installation. Had to wait over a week for service call...yet when I signed the contract the tech was here in an hour to install an activate. Obviously a sales oriented company, not service.

Terrible company They are terrible to deal with in customer service got hung up on 3 times and they hide costs in their billing. Their cancellation fees are ridiculous so better be with them for 5 years and in some cases more otherwise your paying lots of money. When I asked to talk to a manager I was told the customer service lady was the manager also lol wow
