GBTerrible customer service We recently bought a house in NOLA. The previous owners used Protect 1 so I attempted to use them as well. I contacted one of their customer service agents, who noted that the previous owners names were on their records. After keeping me on hold, he came back and noted that the person who the seller dealt with messed up and scheduled to hook up their new home didn't removed the old home. OK. So several weeks later I call back to schedule installation and they refuse! Seems that the first agent I talked with never corrected the problem. Agent number 2 I dealt with refused to deal with me and was rude. I only gave them one star because this doesn't allow zero stars. Terrible customer service, stay away.

GBTerrible company They are terrible to deal with in customer service got hung up on 3 times and they hide costs in their billing. Their cancellation fees are ridiculous so better be with them for 5 years and in some cases more otherwise your paying lots of money. When I asked to talk to a manager I was told the customer service lady was the manager also lol wow

GBBad customer service- equipment doesn't work Installers were nice enough. However, the motion sensor kept getting set off by my cat. Company replaced sensor, moved it, adjusted sensitivity-still went off. When I spoke to customer service they said they'll drop the sensor from the system and that was it. When I explained this wasn't a good resolution for me since I signed up for the service for the advertiSed motion sensor and door sensors. The rep explained "well the motion sensor was free". I then decided I didn't want to continue with this company. Transferred me to someone else...they promised to call me back tomorrow (I was in middle of teaching class when alarm was set off my cat) I never got phone call. Terrible customer service. No follow through and poor equipment.

GBTerrible Communication, Billing Stupidity I had service at my former home with Protection 1 and the new owner took over the contract and service. I get a call once a week (for months on end now) no matter how often I tell Protection 1 this and they keep trying to bill me and call and email me about interruptions in service. I have spoken over and over to staff on the phone about this but everyone there isn't competent enough to correct the issue. Don't use this service.

GB23 years with this company (previously westinghouse) and I'm just fed up The technicians are poorly trained, and take hours to fiddle around and finally admit they don't know how to fix something. Second technician broke a parking gadget in my garage, moved stuff without permission, didn't fix the problem. Third tech fixed the problem, but declared my broken gadget "fixed" and now I have to fight the company for reimbursement. Terrible service, no refund/credit for my inconvenience (five + hours total) and broken parking gadget.
