Shuffled me off to manufacturer to deal with a defect The front control panel to a drawer microwave arrived with a wave --indented at one point and bulging at others. Home Outlet Direct told me I needed to make a warranty claim with the manufacturer or pay a restocking fee of 30%. I am in the middle of that process now-- and it is a time sink. They sent me a warranty claim link that prompts for registration and upon completing it bounced out without allowing me to make a claim. I had to call back HOD and then learned the same link AFTER registration will allow for a warranty claim. See, it's just a time-sink. Now I wait for the manufacturer to reach out, and then who knows what. I'll not repeat business here --instead, buy locally and have the option to return an out-of-the-box defective product.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Absolutely fantastic company! I purchased a Zline cooktop and it had a small leak. Home Outlet Direct promptly took control of the situation and sent me replacement unit to my door within 2 days! Meanwhile I'm still waiting to hear from Zline. Home outlet direct also responded to my emails immediately with no delay. I'll not only buy all my future appliances from Home Outlet, I'll most certainly recommend my friends and colleague to do the same. They are a fantastic company with great customer service.

From that point on, smooth process. We selected a fantastic Thor Package, ordered and within 3 days received communications from the company asking about our timeline and how did we want to take delivery. Appliances arrived crated and well packed. Included with the order were the specification sheets for each appliance. We gave those to the kitchen designer who incorporated into our renovation plans. Easy installation for our contractor. If I had to do it all again, I would go straight back to HOD. I have also recommended to friends and family!

A perfect ten! Purchase a range and hood from Home Outlet Direct. Both look fantastic, works perfectly. Hood lights are bright with just enough warmth, so it doesn't look like a dental office.. the fans are not quiet, but they aren't too loud either. Loved the fact that you can stretch the hood to 46 inches high (trust me). Range is gorgeous and works great. Cooking has been a pleasure. Delivery included unpacking in home, a great touch. HOD's customer service was great!
