Initially I found it hard to determine how to wire it correctly for my application, but after getting it working it is just fantastic. With many wifi IoT devices it can be frustrating to connect the devices to your home wifi, or have other connectivity or responsiveness issues. Not so with shelly - their device is rock solid on wifi, the app is fluid and responsive, and the device just works as intended. Of all the research into different available devices to make my home smart, this company really ticks all the boxs: Affordable - compared with replacing wall switches to ugly and expensive smart switches, or worse, smart bulbs. Versatile - So many products for any niche application you can think of, and with home assistant I have ultimate control in how my smart home should work. Private - no hub or cloud servers collecting your data required. I will be outfitting my entire home with these marvelous little devices.

Excellent products This feels like the smart home brand I've been looking for. Excellent hardware, quality documentation, and the possibilities are huge because there are so many ways to interact with them. Good for the general consumer, but particularly great for someone like me who wants an open platform on which they can program their own setup. Shipping was pretty slow, but that's been the case for a lot of electronics recently.

Horrible customer service- scam Wrong item delivered and not on time (I paid for expedited shipping- almost 2 weeks). Customer service was horrible and they blamed error on postal service telling me that the postal service would have to handle the return and shipping would not be refunded. Used to be a good product Initially, I really liked the concept and their products. Once I started having first technical issues due to bad component quality within the circuit (and required to contact customer service) as well as you are lately forced to register for their cloud in order to use their smartphone app I am not eagerly motivated to buy from them anymore. I send numerous E-mails to their customer service, was a simple matter but not a chance to get it clarified. After the second E-mail they just stopped answering.
