HANIF IS AN EXPERT Hanif was prompt. He had analyzed the issue with my fridge prior to arriving. My fridge has been nonfuctional for 6 months. He came right in and took ownership of the issue. Knew exactly what was wrong. He had the part on his truck so no long drawn out ordering of parts or having to wait two weeks for a return visit. He guaranteed he could fix it and THAT HE DID!!! My fridge is cooling and even making ice. Something no other tech has been able to do since October 2023. Hanif is personable and an expert in the art of diagnosis and repair. DEFINITELY A GREAT ASSET to Sears.

Great service We have first American warranty for the past 5 or 6 years and have had problems with our microwave, dishwasher, air conditioner, dryer, and furnace. They fixed all of these. They also send people from sears home service and the are very experienced.

Difficult to cancel if you need to. Update: I was finally able to reach a live agent who said he would cancel and there would be no charge. I don’t yet have confirmation, but one can hope. The current rating is an average of my most recent experience (5 stars— Thank you, Pablo!) and the many, many prior attempts, reported earlier as follows: I want to give less than 1 star! It’s impossible to cancel the appointments. I’ve been trying for three days and have called 10 different numbers. I even spoke to a couple of people, who proceeded to pass me along to computer menus going nowhere. I truly regret that honest workmen (women?) will arrive and find no one available! Website efforts will only get error messages! Just awful! P.S. I continued to get notifications of upcoming appointments even after cancellation, so waited again to text with a “live agent,” who assured me that I can ignore these notifications. If all goes as promised, I will delete this review and trust that the problems are due mainly to website issues.

Never showed up for a requested repair… Never showed up for a requested repair appointment. Could not call a technician, all I got was a phone number for an automated message system. Appointment time was 8am-5pm!!! All day and no notifications to close in on a closer time of arrival... I tried 6 different numbers for this company, and they all redirected me to the same automatic message. No customer service! Changed contractor for my repair. Going with a company that cares enough to reach out and let me know whether they were coming or not!

Washing machine never repaired Washing machine never repaired Our experience with trying to get our washing machine repaired has been going on since January 2024. We finally gave up after several attempts to get the situation resolved and bought a new machine from Lowes. We did attempt to get our money back after having paid in advance to have our machine repaired, but were not successful. Much of the delay was due to a part being out of stock. I discovered a couple of week ago that the part was in fact in stock, but was never notified to set up a time for someone to come out and complete the repair - in fact, the job was canceled without any input from me. Stay away from Sears Home Services - go with a trusted local company.
