GBUps and Downs I had a problem with the engraving on an award being crooked when it arrived which was disappointing. I did reach someone is customer service that was able to get he award corrected and shipped overnight to my conference location. It was a little touch and go for a while, but it got taken care of.

GBLast minute charges I didn't like that after charging my credit card for the award to be sent to production, I had to later be charged an art conversion fee for transforming a logo into a specific format. If I had known you were going to charge for that, I would have bought a more expensive award.

GBGood customer service and quick turn around time I am a little disappointed with the Star Gazer trophies I received. The one that I have unpacked has a scratch (multiple lines) across the back of the silver star. At least the front of the silver star is not scratched. Where the trophy joins the base there is overflow of material on the base. Where the star joins the art glass it is rough and not smooth. Maybe a little better quality control before things are shipped. I have not looked at the second one I ordered but it will probably be the same. At the $300 mark for the two trophies it would be better if there were no boo boos. It would also be very nice if you could figure out some sort of presentation box for these trophies rather that pillow packing and cardboard box. Thanks.

GBA Good Company I had a good experience with FineAwards. The customer service was great and the product was beautiful. However, the engraving on the product was lighter than I would have liked (it is difficult to see) and also when you open the box that the award came in with the binding on the lift (the way you would open a book) the award is upside down. If giving advice to a friend, I would tell them to address these issues before accepting delivery. RESPONSE: I have had the same item engraved by a local engraver and the non-color etching they did was much easier to see and read. My point was that it was done very lightly and difficult to read. RESPONSE #2: I agree with your assessment of the classiness factor of the non-color etching and had it been bolder it would be perfect. Again, it's a beautiful award and your staff customer service was great.
