GBSCAMMMMMM Sent my oakleys here to be repaired and have not received ONE call or email back from them about anything. I then asked for my glasses back and they want me to PAY to have them shipped back. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM and I will probably never get my glasses back!!

GBIf I could leave NO stars If I could leave NO stars, I would. Sent 2 pairs of Ray Bans in to be fixed- after no communication on their part, they finally respond with this" Sorry for the delay, but NYC just blew up and we cannot get to our factory". After their harrassing emails, texts and phone calls, I told them where to shove it but not before I filed a claim with the BBB. Now they tell me they lost my glasses. Looking into further means to shut down this SCAM of a business.

GBFraud Alert! This is a wrong rating percentage. They file their own good reviews to offset the bad ones. They are a scam. If you fill out their online form - which does not constitute a contract - they try to harass you into sending in your glasses even if you decide not to do business with them after investigating them. If you don't send your glasses in, they will harass you to pay a fee for the mailing label that costs them nothing and a "cancellation" fee. Check out their ratty storefront on Google Maps. Google "Has online's biggest bully returned?" for the May 2, 2021 New York Times article about the convicted criminal who runs this business.

GBComplain to NYC Dept of Consumer & Worker Protection I have had a very negative experience with this company similar to many other complaints/reviews I have read. After trying to deal (unsuccessfully) with the company I contacted the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection and filed a complaint. The DCWP tried reaching out to eyeglasses depot with no success and because my complaint was the only one on this co with the department, I was told there wasn't anything they could do based on ONE complaint. So, I am asking that each and everyone who sees this and feel that they were scammed by this business will do the same. NYC DCWP contact information: DCWP Consumer Services, 42 Broadway, 9th Floor, New York, NY 10004 212-487-4110

GBI searched the internet for a company…Eyeglass Depot so far a bad experience I searched the internet for a company that could repair my vintage Porsche folding sunglasses. When I read the company’s Eyeglasses Depot description I was impressed. I sent my glasses to them with the prepaid USPS free shipping label. I tracked the delivery to Pomona. Their webpage says they would contact me in 48 hours with a repair cost. After 10 days no response whatsoever. I have called at least 20 times left clear messages and sent emails. I think I have been taken and I’m furious. Beware
