GBToo hard of a footbed, uncomfortable & unyielding on cement floors The shoes feel and look of good quality materials. I found the break-in period did nothing to help with my plantar fasciitis. It was since day one I found the footbed hard and unyielding. I work on cement floors all day and could never get past a 1/2 shift before needing to swap out and wear a different pair of shoes. I ordered prior to changing my position from office to sales floor so by the time I got through the break in period it was past 45 days and KURU wouldn't refund even though the shoes are nearly new. This is the 2nd time I gave Kuru a try and will not bother with this brand again.

CADon't buy if you're outside of the U.S. The boots so far seem nice, but I just paid almost a hundred bucks extra on brokerage fees on top of their $19 shipping fee. FedEx says the product originated in China hence the huge fee. I have bought online from several other U.S. companies whose products are manufactured elsewhere but have never been charged brokerage fees like that! The boots were only $175, the shipping was $114. I contacted the company they said there was nothing they can do and offered me $20 off my next purchase. They obviously are aware of this problem but don't bother to warn international customers. Poor customer service and business practices!

AUVery disappointing and exhausting experience!! I am in Australia In ordered 2 pairs of shoes a pair of sandals and a pair of socks I waited and waited and kept emailing no replies eventually get my package delivered notification look all around house nothing go to post box there is a small box containing sunglasses? Then took 10 days of emails before anyone responded I asked to reorder only to be told there are no shoes?? Then said I could keep the sunglasses and receive a 40% refund or return the item for a full refund! Customer service is appalling and exhausting! So can’t review the actual shoes only the company. I don’t see why I have to send a pair of sunglasses back to get my refund none of this is my fault I won’t be paying postage. And they locked my account so I couldn’t access for proof of order

CAIf you are ordering in Canada, you will get nailed with an exorbitant duty fee! Horrendous. I was hit with an $87 charge on top of the already expensive shoes I ordered because KURU does nothing to address customs and duty fees for their customers. They don't make this clear during checkout and know you're just going to get nailed with this fee when it arrives, and they do not provide any cooperation to cover fees or reimburse. They are intentionally misleading and do not provide this information during checkout. I love these shoes and used to recommend these to everyone I know but this is the last time I will ever order from here.

Disappointed
GBAbsolutely awful experience Absolutely awful experience. First off, they employ deceptive tricks to get you to purchase their shipping insurance product. It was preselected to opt out rather than opt in and was in no way apparent that the selection was preselected. The cost was only $6 but it feels very unethical the way they handle it. If they feel like it is such a benefit to customers than build it into your price or make it opt in only and you’ll see how few customers truly value this option. Second, it wasn’t until several days after my order was placed did they tell me my selection was unavailable leaving me to scramble for an alternative. Very unsatisfied with this company.
