Don't forget how you got here I first meet the doctors about 4 years ago. The team was extremely helpful and would go out of their way to meet my needs. I now feel they might of gotten to big or over committed for their own good. I am still al customer and plan to always be because they are amazing doctors especially Dr. O, I just don't get that "Cheers" feeling anymore.

The Office staff and Drs are very helpful The Weight Loss Institute of AZ has had staff available to answer my questions and help me understand the details of the lap band procedure. The location in Glendale is convenient and the office staff always try to assist as needed. The procedure went well and weight loss has begun.

Knowledgeable, Caring Staff After months of dieting and meeting with my primary care physician I came to WLIA on the recommendation of a business colleague. There were a lot of hoops to jump through but all was explained to me up front so I could jump through them as quickly as possible. The provided checklist kept me on track. The staff are welcoming and mostly responsive (a few unreturned phone calls were very annoying) that aside, they are all hard working, caring people who greeted me by name and always with a smile.

Everyone was very nice and pleasant. I really wish i could get help from the office on getting the surgery I want through my insurance. I was advised to call the insurance myself and I did and didn't get anywhere other than the insurance saying that the doctor needs to write why it's important for me to have the surgery. I told the insurance that my knees hurt and diabetes runs in my family, but they still didn't listen to me. Now I don't know what to do because I don't know if I could do it financially too. But really need this surgery to be done.

Get EVERYTHING in writing and then keep it for...ever. I had an egd done with Dr. Orris late last year, 2014. He told me that would include one fill after the procedure. I went in in November, 2014 and had the fill. No problems, no issues, no charge. It is now September 18th.... 2015... and I'm being billed $264.00 for said fill. I called up the office. I was transferred to Jennifer in the billing department. I explained the situation. She was nice and helpful, told me she'd research it and get back to me. She called me back and said, "you weren't charged for the visit. .. only the fill." I asked her for clarification. .. even though that's NOT what I was told during my egd and the following visit when I had my fill... In November. ...of 2014. She said yes... I'm sorry but there's nothing in writing. So... I provided my payment information over the phone and advised her I would write a review. Here it is. Almost a year later I'm being billed for something I was told there'd be no charge for. .. and when questioned about it... I'm told... oh you weren't billed for the visit. ... just the fill. ?? Wow....
