Long wait for product, inferior product - but satisfactory outcome Long wait for delivery - chair was an inferior product, but I am very pleased to say that Eric N at The Essential was very accommodating and helpful and gave us a full refund. They will also review the product before sending more out.

If I could give negative stars I would If I could give negative stars I would. Stil waiting 4 months for a chaise lounge and over 2 months for a lounge chair. I have emailed and I have received responses most of the time always telling me it’s the manufacturer. BS. I sent an email a few days ago because the website says both are in stock, no response at all. By the way when I placed my order both were supposed to be in stock, again BS. I’m beyond feed up , I just want my money back, I’m done!

The merchandise itself is good, BUT The merchandise itself is good - once it finally arrives! Shipping estimates are always wrong, add two to three months minimum to what they list. It's a dark pattern, they have been in business long enough to have data that would allow for a truthful estimate. They certainly should have the capacity to proactively communicate delays. Sorry the essential, you've fooled me more than twice now - shame on me.

Took WAY too long to ship (30 days) Took WAY too long to ship (30 days). Not much response from customer service until I found one of the execs on Linked In. The shipping team put Bavarian pretzels at the bottom of the box and they were pretty much trashed when the box arrived. I’ve asked what can be done about it and have not received a reply. Considering cancellation of my membership.

Shipping times are crazy long Shipping times are crazy long. I decided to cancel my multiple orders and they said I would receive a refund in 5-7 Business Days however after two follow up emails they still have not cancelled or refunded my orders. Will be submitting a claim with my credit card company now.
