Long wait for product, inferior product - but satisfactory outcome Long wait for delivery - chair was an inferior product, but I am very pleased to say that Eric N at The Essential was very accommodating and helpful and gave us a full refund. They will also review the product before sending more out.

Happy and surprised My order was a little delayed though their customer service rep was great. When my chair arrived, it was fantastic. They followed up on my order and even gave me some credit. I wasn't expecting that.

Terrible customer service well for a very short time this company seemed to get its act together WRONG. Placed last order on July 31 today is Sept. 14 contacted CS and after a late reply no dry ice really nothing listed on website. Finally shipped and tracking says damaged sent back. Now zero communication from CS cant call it customer service. What a shame good products crap for service. What could they do better well try customer service.

I am a new The Essental customer I am a new The Essental customer. I've order several items and their logistics and communications are very poor. On the first order, it was sent in three separate shipments. I ordered a mid-weight down duvet, King sized (claimed to be made in Canada). Sent was a Queen sized light weight, not made in Canada. The linen duvet cover was King size, but the wrong color. A second order was for the Lounge Chair. I've sent three follow-up emails. Kevin replied to the first that he would check on the Lounge Chair, but I have not received any further response yet and the status remains unknown. As to the wrong duvet size and duvet cover, no replies. On top of that, I now have a big credit with The Essential b/c I purchased a Black Friday coupon. Money lost?

Took WAY too long to ship (30 days) Took WAY too long to ship (30 days). Not much response from customer service until I found one of the execs on Linked In. The shipping team put Bavarian pretzels at the bottom of the box and they were pretty much trashed when the box arrived. I’ve asked what can be done about it and have not received a reply. Considering cancellation of my membership.
