GBWhat happened???? As a long-time user of Zenfolio, I am so sad to see what this service has become. For the longest time, this service was amazing, but recently that has all changed. I'm not sure whose idea it was to start the whole archiving thing, but it is causing chaos for my business. Not only is it making galleries inaccessible to my clients, but it is crashing my portfolio causing me trouble getting new clients as well. I'm not sure what I am going to do, but at this point, I'm sure that it won't involve Zenfolio.

GBWith them for more than a decade, just gets worse. With them for more than a decade - top pkg. I don't remember any improvements ever. Very disappointed in the outdated cart. The latest "archiving" scheme is being implemented without actually testing - and the fails are here. The support is non-existent.

GBTheir archiving process is a disaster… My website hosted by Zenfolio right now is broken all over the place: galeries disappeared, collections broken, most of my blog posts lost their pictures and are now empty! I tried to "restore" all of the galleries with blog images more than 1 week ago, and the pictures are still missing! When this was going to be implemented, we were promised that all pictures used in blog and active galleries would not be archived, well that was apparently not true. We were told that galleries could be retrieved within 12 to 24 hours... another lie, it takes weeks, if it ever happens!!! Whoever came up with this didn't not really understand how photographers do business. The archiving process should ONLY archive galleries/pictures which haven't been accessed (viewed) by a customer for more than 2 years. The current implementation is completely stupid, I bet most photographers on Zenfolio are now are trying to unarchive archived galleries because: #1 their website is broken #2 customers can't access their galleries That's sad because I have been with Zenfolio for more than 14 years, and I won't renew with them after this fiasco.

GBI've been a customer of zenfolio for 16 years I've been a customer of zenfolio for sixteen years. I'm not sure what Zenfolio is doing. They keep increasing their prices even as their platform gets worse and worse in terms of performance. The archiving fiasco is one thing, another is that basic features don't work, they don't support their classic app and the website is glacially slow. Today I tried to upload a gallery of images for a client. "Tried" is the operative word. Despite the platform showing all of the images were uploading, only about 1/3 of the images would be in the galllery. I tried to upload repeatedly, but finally gave up after ten tries. I'm not sure what Zenfolio is doing with the clients they have but this is not acceptable. There is no reason to stay on this platform

FRI concur with all the negative reports… I concur with all the negative reports here. I also have been a zenfolio client for around fifteen years. I have just cancelled my account as, like others, archiving and restoring is a slow, clunky, nightmare. The thought of trying to download my galleries, which would also be a nightmare, has led me to the decision to reload onto a working alternative site from hard drive back-ups. Sorry Zenfolio, you have screwed up big time!
