GBTried to change my billing date online… Tried to change my billing date online using their 'chat' feature. Numerous attempts and it didn't work. I then tried using their online email to have them change my billing date. Numerous attempts and that didn't work. Tried using a phone number through Google search and received automated response that the number dialed was only for setting up a NEW account. No way to contact these people if you have a problem or need to make a change in you account. Customer service is truly NONEXISTENT!! The actual product and VoIP service is VERY GOOD but customer service isn't there!

GBBasicTalk = no talk I wish I could give BasicTalk zero (0) stars. The reasons for my poor opinion of BasicTalk are: 1. BasicTalk stated one price for their monthly service and charge more than 50% more for the service. 2.Customer service is lacking I asked a question about voicemail outgoing messgae and reply had nothing to do with the question. 3. BasicTalk sent me an email on 6/3/2014 thanking me for choosing them. As if I just became their customer. Stupid stupid stupid. BasicTalk do everyone a favor and go out of business.

GBBe warned! If you try to cancel your plan, be careful. They will tell you you're all set and they are sorry to see you go and then they will email you a letter thanking you for continuing your service with them and the charges will continue to be applied to your credit card. If you happen not to notice the charges, they will state that they have a policy of not offering refunds. This company is scamming its customers.

GBI had to argue with the rep to cancel … I had to argue with the rep to cancel my service because I got a bundled package with time Warner. They just charged me for a new month and refuse to credit my account for the month of service I'm not receiving. The rep said they have no way of issuing a credit, how does a reputable company not have that capability.

GBI've NEVer had Basic Talk in my Life! I've NEVer had Basic Talk in my Life!! But somehow they're billing my account and have been since June of 2023 for $1.99, twice each month for 10 months. I called and this Asian lady, that you can barely understand, told me to call my bank. Then I'm given the number from the bank, to call the telephone number they have on file for them. I do and I'm Forced to leave an E-mail. I want my money refunded and the FCC to look into this. This is nothing more than Theft. I've been a customer of either Verizon or Spectrum for over a decade and Never needed Basic Talk. I had to go on the computer to find out who they are. If my money isn't put back into my account in 24 hours, I'M CALLING THE COPS !!! If it wasn't for the App "Rocket Money", that I recently downloaded, I would have never known they were stealing from me.
