About a year ago I purchased a Dell… About a year ago I purchased a Dell Latitude laptop. I initially had problems with the keyboard. I was sent a new keyboard free with instructions to replace it. I have recommended Discount Electronics to those who tell me they need a good computer at a great price. The next time I need a laptop I will go straight to Discount. Thanks!"

So…I did a lot of research looking for… So…I did a lot of research looking for what I needed and I love the environmentally friendly idea of refurbished items. Let’s put aside the shipping issues I had the forced me to go out of my way to return one of two computers back to them. (Proving btw that their LAST ONE LEFT!! Claim was utterly bogus) The main issue was the laptop would not charge. The battery was dead. I got the laptop for around $250 which on the surface is a great deal. However, when I told them about the battery their solution was to send me a replacement battery. WTH am I supposed to do with that??? I am not a technician! I haven’t a clue as to how to switch them out and I am not a stupid person. Getting someone else to do it is a minimum of 200$ . They sent a YouTube video on How To but I don’t think it matched my computer right. All of which d defeats the purpose of an inexpensive machine! All the have to do is wait for my year warranty to run out then they can wash their hands of me. Go to Back Market or better yet Amazon refurbished.
