GBThe Oakton PH Instrument arrived and it … The Oakton PH Instrument arrived and it apparently does not work I will be going out in the field to recover it. The field personnel reported that the Transcat shipped the device, in out of specification weather conditions. The device was shipped in below 6 degree weather and it apparently damaged the device because it will not energize.

CATerrible experience in a range of… Terrible experience in a range of aspects from the timeliness and quality of communication to the aggressive and unreasonable pricing imposed with no reasoning but "$3000 minimum charge". Dane Dalton is the person I dealt with - he was rude, did not reply to our communication and when he did the answers to my inquiries were evasive. The simple request for a break down cost of the quote was not addressed. If this is the culture promoted then it is an original and dangerous approach to customer "success".

PKPoor Delivery follow ups We paid 100 % advance payment to Transcat on Aug 16, 2017 against order number D51A2/00. Delivery for all items were 3 weeks Max (Order copy attached). October 1, 2017. we have been told that Item No. 65-120 060 is delayed from manufacturer and now it will be delivered on October 31, 2017. and item No. 52811398 was not ordered by Transcat as the part number is changed. Transcat has issued a new order F6105245 for item Number 65-120 060 (Qty-1) & Item 52811398 (Qty-2)and told us that this time complete order will be delivered on October 31, 2017. (Order copy attached) Now today you are telling me that as per your record 52811398 only 1 item was ordered. and 65-120 060 will be delivered by November 1, 2017. We need detailed explanation why our order is mishandled since August 16, 2017

GBWorst experince so far_Transcat Worst experince so far. Accelerometers sent out for calibration, it was delayed 4 times at least. When asked why it was taking too long. They stated that they were waiting for Manufacturer specs. Specs sent by us (requester) no answers then, they shipped them back un-serviced to us , with no comunication nor explanation. Crikets so far...

GBSince the first contact that I had with… Since the first contact that I had with a sales person Carla, I knew I would have problems with this company. She was not even clear on how much they would charge me for handling and shipping. A day after I checked my bank statement and they charged me way over what they should (as I checked online the amount for 2 days shipping). I called, complaining about that, they sent back some money to my credit card. The headache started when they put three charges on my card of $346.84 (pending since Tuesday, today is Friday). So, please, do yourself a favor and do business somewhere else. I expected some professionalism from a company that has more than 50 years of experience in this industry.
