Carpet One Floor & Home, Latham NY The salesperson in the store that we worked with (Laura) was great, but when the installers were ready to finish up, they called us to come by the house they were working in and complete the paperwork. One of the two installers immediately started complaining about the radiators in the three rooms (which if he looked at the plan grid, the radiators were clearly shown) saying that they should have been covered, but it was "too late to stop the job". The overall workmanship was and still is not what we expected from a professional and the same installer (Tom) said "it's adequate for a rental property". Um HELLO TOM, this house is NOT a rental property! I will NOT have these people back for future work.

When we purchased our flooring When we purchased our flooring, we were given a $100 coupon for an area rug. We spent 8k on flooring. When we returned to redeem the coupon for an area rug to protect the new flooring, they refused to honor the $100 coupon; they said we needed to purchase an additional $1000 of carpet in order to use the coupon. Instead they offered us 10% off. Unacceptable. Also, they were the ones who measured for the flooring, they apparently measured incorrectly and we ended up with two extra boxes. They refused to take any back unless we paid a restocking fee claiming that since it was a custom order, no returns were allowed without a restocking fee. What a scam! Of course, they are going to order extra for everyone and make some money on the returns. I will never go there again.

The floor looks good The floor looks good, the installation was good, but the installers didn't clean up the small scraps, threads, etc, and they didn't reconnect my computer. They left the floor a mess actually. For what was charged for installation, and that was a lot, I did not find this acceptable.

Great place for carpets! Great service and product; minor issue that was resolved quickly and fully to our satisfaction. Todd and Greg were very helpful in picking out the carpets and handling the installation. The selection, quality and price was very good. The carpets look beautiful! We would definitely use Carpet One again and recommend them to our family and friends.

John the former owner of Fascia Flooring offered us terrific advice in his area of expertise. The materials were delivered by Billy efficiently & with great enthusiasm. The installation of the floor by Steve and his team was done seamlessly with the utmost detail. We highly recommend Carpet One and their outstanding team of employees. Laurie & William
