I like their product; their web site needs improvement. good product that you pay for, but high quality and period correct. wish the web site gave more info on size and dimensions - makes it easier to choose the lock or hinge for my build.

Wrong finish on recent order I recently purchased two H-557 small chest handles. I ordered semi-bright brass. The handles arrived in antique brass, dark finish. Okay, no big deal. I have a polishing head and I brought the handles up to semi-bright, although it's tedious work with pieces as small as the rosettes. I wanted to get on with the project and so didn't go through the process of returning the handles for an exchange. I double-checked the order, and for all that appears, semi-bright was specified. Yes. Mistakes happen. Horton is a good company. An unfortunate oversight in this instance.

Great experience and great company!! I love working with Horton Brasses! The lead times are always quick and we recently purchased a huge quantity of knobs for a commercial job and they all came quickly and packaged extremely well. The few that we had problems with they replaced no problem. Will definitely continue using them as much as possible.

Needs to better attention to detail in parts picking Shipped order same day. Received next day. Short half the posts for pulls. Called and they shipped the shorted parts. Received them late next day but they were the wrong size posts. Called following day to report problem. Shipped replacements same day which was a Friday. Haven't received replacements as of now (Monday). Should receive by end of day.

These folks are the best These folks are the best! I needed a small part to repair a drawer pull. They not only had a number of such parts (virtually unheard of in this world of planned obsolescence) but also recommended the one they thought right for my project. After tortuous travel from Cromwell, CT to Greenwich, CT via Springfield, MA, Queens, NY and White Plains, NY, the part arrived and fit perfectly. The small triumphs are sometimes the most important!!
