Nice handmade brass bail pulls made in Connecticut. I would only buy from Horton. Classy handmade brass bail pulls made in Connecticut. Great selection of hardware, finishes, and sizes too. I needed to replace all my bail pulls on my bedroom furniture and needed two specific sizes in an espresso-type finish that would match well with two decorator knobs on my armoir. I selected the darkest antique finish and they matched perfectly. The bail pull replacements from Horton Brass are nicer than the original pulls.

Easy to deal with I had to wait for a while for the things I wanted because they didn't have them in stock, But it didn't matter for me as it was urgent. They let me know very soon after the order. The things arrived today in Australia, and were just what I was after. All good, thanks.

Antique table repair Nearly perfect replacement for antique drop leaf table steel hinge. One of four hinges had been replaced with a smaller hinge. While shorter table side of hinge matched screw hole pattern of original, leaf side did not. Wonder if Horton Brasses has considered offering a blank hinge so purists can drill holes to match preexisting screw holes?

Wrong finish on recent order I recently purchased two H-557 small chest handles. I ordered semi-bright brass. The handles arrived in antique brass, dark finish. Okay, no big deal. I have a polishing head and I brought the handles up to semi-bright, although it's tedious work with pieces as small as the rosettes. I wanted to get on with the project and so didn't go through the process of returning the handles for an exchange. I double-checked the order, and for all that appears, semi-bright was specified. Yes. Mistakes happen. Horton is a good company. An unfortunate oversight in this instance.
