GBMilitary PCS: Reconsider this company Military PCS: Utterly appalled. I knew we’d be taking a chance by using this company but they managed to stoop well below whatever low standards I had. After dropping off the shipment container (a week early) they called a few days later asking why we didn’t have it packed yet and also threatened to charge us more. The loading RAMP is a complete liability and a disaster. The shipment barriers are rotted out and dented. When we received our shipment in California, (from Michigan), they dropped it off on a curved curb so we couldn’t even place the ramp down. The barriers were bent in half and we were unable to open them, so we had to leave it there overnight. Our things (packed VERY well) were in shambles, as if the driver had been wreckless. Our entire household was damaged, I’ve never been so upset.

GB5 stars for the Upack 5 stars for the Upack, rtheir service was fantastic right from the quote to the delivery. The best part was the customer service, they were very professional unlike other packers guys. The quote I got from Salt Lake City to Plano was just 1400$. While comparing the price with other parties they are like one fourth of it. The relocube was large enough to fit all my items worth of 2BR I will definitely hire them again if needed. 😊

GBJustPerfect Other than telling me I needed packing blankets & tie-down straps it would've been good to know I also needed one medium-length-shank padlock for uPak door itself. Yes, I could've read everything UPak emailed me & those things may have been mentioned, but the phone call including those few important bullet points is good for peeps who don't take the time to read stuff when they're too busy in the moving process. (Loved the tutorial on website for packing art/mirrors).

GBBad bad bad customer service, DO NOT use Zero customer service, the company genuinely doesn't care about their customer. Destroyed my stuff and didn't even get an apology from the company, let alone any compensation. The lady who answered my phone call was rude, cold, and not helpful at all, as if she doesn't care at all. Please stay away from this company. Use U-haul or some other companies, regretted choosing Upack.

GBDrivers are hiding something I live in a guarded community that requires all drivers to show their state-issued ID at the gate when entering. I told them when I booked the container that someone would need to show their ID at the gate, and they said it wouldn't be a problem. The U-Pack/ABF driver refused to show his ID and became verbally aggressive with the private security company, so I am forced to rearrange my cross-country move. This will cost me another $1,000 because now I will need a hotel for a week. The U-Pack/ABF dispatcher also called me when the driver arrived. He immediately began yelling at me about the private security company of whom I have no affiliation with and no control over. These people have been rude and unprofessional with both myself as well as the security company at my community. Go with PODS. U-Pack has proven to be sketchy. I don't know what their drivers are hiding but they have cost me quite a bit extra now. When I attempted to reason with them, they had no reasoning. The three people I talked to were rude and unprofessional, and utterly unwilling to offer any sort of compromise. I also emailed them as per their comment below and they never replied.
