What they don't tell you is that the refund comes in the form of a GIFT CARD? That can only be used for MORE SCANS!? They also include upsells in your final checkout basket you didn't ask for, like photo touch-ups. I highly suggest you go elsewhere. ------ ** UPDATE, after ScamCafe response ** Please think about how little sense your response makes. Why does having a gift card, with 16 alphanumeric characters I have to enter somewhere alongside any regular payment information, "facilitate their projects and also the time they spend on them"? How does that save anyone time?? Same with the undisclosed $10 recurring monthly cloud fee. If you see your Wharton Bro founders in the hallway, please tell them to go do something very pleasant to themselves for me.

I am so pleased with ScanCafe I am so pleased with ScanCafe. I had almost 1000 35 mm slides from my deceased mom that they brought to life in digital form. They did an excellent job - the quality was excellent and the cost absolutely reasonable. I had so much fun and experienced so much emotion of seeing my childhood come to life. I would highly recommend ScanCafe for media transfers. You will not be disappointed.

ScanCafe mostly did what it promised ScanCafe mostly did what it promised, but there is one issue that I will report. I randomly sampled a few of the scans and found at least 1/3 were flipped around the vertical axis. This will happen if you are scanning the wrong side of a 35mm slide. This is a mistake they should not be making, and they need to train their staff to avoid it. I sent them a note about this back in November 2023 and hope they have rectified this.

Highly recommend - have used for over a decade I've been using ScanCafe for over a decade - I've done probably a dozen or so projects with them so far. Every single time they have exceeded my expectations. The scans are well done, the shipping is timely, etc. Most importantly, for someone who is very fastidious about something like family memories, they are very communicative and responsive throughout the process.

Great Digital Images From Both Slides and Photos! I previously used Scan Cafe to digitize some old slides. They did a great job, so I more recently used them to digitize some old photographs if varying sizes. They really did a remarkable job in getting each photo to fit perfectly in the digital space, so they are great to view on a digital photo frame. As they did with the slides, they greatly enhanced each image and adjusted both the light and the color to maximize the quality of each image as much as possible. Highly recommended!
