Absolutely horrendous experience Absolutely horrendous experience. After almost a two hour delay in receiving the car, I received it in a very bad state. Carpets were filthy! and full of stains. After returning it, I was charges with AED 36.60 for 1 Salik CROSSING!!! when I ask their call centre for a breakdown, they tell me they do not have the information!! AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE

Too bad too often Terrible experience renting a car in Avis Dubai, on several occasions. Was denied a car yesterday, told at the counter that I cannot use a valid driving license if my current residency is in a different country. On a previous occasion, had to wait hours for them to bring my car although it was pre-booked well in advance. I think its a UAE-Avis thing, better avoid them there. The service is great in many other locations. Istanbul airport branch is really good, for example.

Worst place to rent car Worst place to rent car. I had to pay 2000AED in deposit, no problems there, but when it came to the refund the told me i had to waite 45 days, also no problem. It took me almost 95 days to get the refund after talking to them multiple times. I did in the end receive back the refund but it was missing almost 300AED no explanation why just a cash register recipe that have been scanned and send as a picture. Dont rent from this place.

WITHOUT A SHRED OF PROOF JUST A MADE UP PDF BUT EXACTLY FOR THE REMAINING "OPEN" AMOUNT = DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CORRECT RENTAL CHARGES AND "DEPOSIT" AS PREAUTHORIZED ON MY DINERS CLUB CREDIT CARD. ATTENTION: DINERS CLUB WILL NOT HELP YOU AT ALL.
