I hesitated before pursuing the… I hesitated before pursuing the appraisal clause at all; I was worried about the potential cost, risk, time, etc. Petty turned out to be a great decision and a great partner. So easy to work with - simple and low cost! If you have a total loss settlement then my guess is you would be much better off financially by engaging Petty on your behalf... they helped me gain an additional $3,050 (in excess of my previous personal negotiations with the insurance co.).
