I will never purchase another item… I will never purchase another item from. Their part faulted out my vehicle and did additional damage and they are trying to figure out every way but the right way to pay for my repairs.

Lifetime Warranty not honored I bought a steering rack in 2005 with a "Limited Lifetime Replacement" warranty. The rack failed in 2012 and they replaced it. It went bad again last summer and they refused to warranty it. I called the 800 customer service number and was told that the "lifetime warranty" now means they'll make ONE warranty exchange, EVER. That's not the way it was back in 2005. On my last car, the spark plug wires went bad every three years, and they replaced them every three years. I sued them in Small Claims Court and won. I photocopied the judge's decision and the check Advance Auto Parts sent for the full $326.99 plus the $10 court fee, so... don't bother flagging my review as false because I'll upload proof. Conclusion: Go ahead and use Advance Auto Parts if you like, just be aware that their new lifetime warranty only includes ONE exchange ever. PS: The other guys still exchange their lifetime warranty stuff an unlimited number of times, even on brake pads. I'm sorry I can't mention their business' name, because that's considered a "Promo", which is against the rules here, but ask around and you'll learn who they are.

Ordered parts on August 24 2022 Ordered parts on August 24 2022, was notified by email that package was shipped - two days past, tracking still showed Label Created with no movement. On August 26, 2022 package was shipped from Raleigh NC. 4 day shipment was expected from order date. 2 day delay and tracking showed package to be delivered on August 30, by 7 PM package was NOT received as scheduled. Was called by UPS that package will be delivered today - August 31, 2022 by 8 30 PM will have to see. Store is located 17 miles from my location. Expected delivery from store not NC. Should NOT have taken 7 days for delivery to North Central Florida from Raleigh NC.

The Advance Auto Part warranty LIE Advance Auto Parts Limited Lifetime Warranties are a LIE. They only cover manufacture defects for the life of the part; a term that they have defined as 4 years or less. It is their position that all parts wear out from use and age. Their receipts fade out in days if left in your car and the database system at the corporate office scrubs customer history of anything older than 4 years old. Your local store retains records for 2 years until it is lost during System Upgrades. You only have a warranty is you can prove it in court
