NZRIP OFF OF THE CENTURY RIP OFF OF THE CENTURY I purchased hotel accommodation for 3 nights in NZ with NZ credit card and charged $147 of expedia fees for booking through them. It was showing as a NZ site with NZ dollars but they charge tax and fees on top of the advertised price that states includes taxes and fees. They were argumentative on the chat box, can't get an anwere out of anybody, it goes around in circles, and finally I found out that the tax he said I was being charged was just their fee. That was not mentioned anywhere prior. They don't have a phone number to call and the callers don't speak good English especially for a NZ site. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. GO TO THE HOTEL WEBSITE TO BOOK.

THThe after service support was terrible The after service support was terrible. My booking came with breakfast but was told by the hotel, it was not. Contacted the support team to clarify on the booking. No action from Expedia. The chat kept on assigning from one customer service officer to another... At the end of it, no conclusion and no action to solve the booking problem.

GBOutdated or Fraudulent Outdated or Fraudulent? Searched and Booked a weekend get away, about 6 hours from home. Specifically, searched and booked a hotel with pool, hot tub and restaurant. Arrived to the hotel which did not have a operational pool, hot tub or restaurant. Called Expedia customer service and they didn't seem to care about wasting my time at all. The hotel says Expedia is responsible for updating amenities. I don't care who is responsible. My weekend get away was wrecked. I turned around and went home. I finally got a refund, but there should be compensation for wasting my time. 12 hours driving, 1 hour dealing with the property and expedia on the phone on check in day then the next 30 minute following up on my credit. You can tell Expedia has a total disregard for client satisfaction as they do not respond to any of their complaints here. This is the 2nd time that I've been burnt by Expedia- just go directly to the property and airline. You'll at least know what you're paying for.

GBCharged a completely different price Charged a completely different price at checkout and didn't notify me of the price change until after the card was charged. Would not provide any sort of refund or credit. BUYER BEWARE

CAIt's terrible to book a hotel with… It's terrible to book a hotel with Expedia, they charge half of your stay in advance and take 100 CAD as a deposit without having arrived. I will definitely not use Expadia again at all.
