GBCOMPLETE SCAM!!!! COMPLETE SCAM!!!! You advertise hotels that can be booked using Tesco clubcards. You check the list of eligible hotels then convert you clubcards to a coupon book. Once you have the code you cannot actually place a booking, the website doesn't allow it, even though there is a link use tesco coupon. The customer service agent basically said tough pick another hotel. This is misleading surely against trading standards. Only after speaking to CS they then removed the hotel from the list of eligible hotels.

GBOh my goodness this company STINKS Oh my goodness this company STINKS! What on earth has happened to them. When I first started using them approx 10 years ago Hotels.com were great and I always received a fantastic service and I was easily able to speak to a human with any queries. I was unable to get any sensible communication from their automated, idiotic, robot chat bot. So literally as I am tying this, I have been holding on a call to Hotel.com for over an hour and half trying to get compensation for an awful let down. They have cut me off twice and once I got through I have been tossed around from department to department and put on hold and made to listen to some crazy Spanish, guitar manic flamenco music which makes my whole head vibrate. My issue relates to when I recently travelled with my family to a very remote village in Wales and on arrival discovered the hotel we had booked had closed down. There was nowhere else to stay at such short notice so we had only one option and that was to turn around and drive back home through the night (a total of 10 hours driving in one day all stuffed in a mini - not my idea of a relaxing weekend break). I can never trust them again! The terrible after care customer service just adds insult to injury! However, I did finally get compensation so don’t give up if you find yourself in a similar situation. Note to the Hotels.com management - “sort yourselves out and demonstrate better consideration of your customers”

GBInaccurate reservation system I tried to make a reservation but did not receive a confirmation email. When I looked on the website, I also did not find the reservation. So I made an additional reservation. I later discovered they had charged me for both stays. I asked them to refund the stay but they refused, saying the hotel itself would not. It was not the hotels fault, it was the site's fault. I spent hours on the chat bot phone, and email and they will not resolve this.

GBUnhelpful! Booked a one night stay nearby an airport for a long layover flight connection I have coming up, trying to keep it as cheap as possible being only a few hours. I mistakenly entered the wrong check in date, and the transaction went through before I was able to close the page. I immediately flagged to customer service, and the representative pretended to try help by calling the hotel, which have no say on this matters when booked though third party, and then suggested a paid the full price again to make a new booking. while i understand this was my fault, I'm sure they could have been more decent and actually helped, considering the issue was raised 2 minutes within making the booking. will never use again!!! should have read the reviews before

GBdeceptive publishing of revies Hotels.com ask you for a review of the hotel just as soon as you checked in. I always write an honest report of what I have experienced afterwards. I take my time to do it so that fellow travellers can make their own judgement and can have an idea of what to expect. Now it's been twice that hotels.com has not published what I've written as it was not complimentary due to various issues. That makes the whole process of reviews redundant. A mark/10 does not give you a true picture.
