Not durable I bought this bag in its Kickstarter days. Lots to like -- handle, wheels, collapsability. Unfortunately the bag is not durable. I used my first bag on a trip overseas, always put it in the overhead compartment, handled it as one would a carry-on. By the time I returned home the fabric at the lower part of the zipper was frayed to the point of splitting from the fabric. Assuming the damage was a fluke I contacted customer service and they promptly sent a second bag. I used the second bag on an overseas trip and again, treated it as one would treat a carry-on. Same wear pattern, same place, after only one use. There is a lot to like about the bag but the angle of the zipper at the bottom end of the bag simply invites excess wear.

Top notch customer service!!! I inquired about my order and was pleasantly surprised by the immediate response and going out of the way to have the bag ship before my next trip. I'm super excited that the new luggage is on its way thanks to Barracuda and will send a follow up review on the bag itself. Thanks again for the responsiveness Barracuda!! 21st Century Luggage Super ambitious product germinated from a kickstarter campaign. I see some weakness with it - zipper on main compartment is not smooth, quality of the teeth mediocre - but overall, for a first-launch product (compared to the big boys in the industry that have had years of testing), the Barracuda team has done exceptionally well.. delivering a product with bells and whistles (collapsable, charger, tracker) that are indeed a beautiful and refreshing thing. I'm sure the company will smooth it out over time. I was reassured by the Chief Design Officer, Boban... "We do offer a 5 year warranty and if the zipper, or anything else, ever fail on you please do let us know and we will be happy to get that fixed/replaced."

Wanted to love it but didn't Wanted to love it- after all, it has a battery charger and laptop tray- perfect! But, the frills mean nothing if it isn't constructed well. Handle wouldn't go down first trip out. Second trip out, the zipper broke. Not worth the money at this point until they fix the table stakes items for frequent travelers. Customer service was poor- submitted request and never got a response. No number to call - only email. I would say go above and beyond if you want raving fans. We realize that it's a start up but then work to fix the problems.

Beautifully Innovative I love my Barracuda! I've already used it to Florida. The swivel handle is comfortable and easy to twist while walking. The pull out tray is my favorite feature. Waiting at the gate, I am constantly on my laptop- social media, watching movies, planning itineraries, etc. and having it propped up instead of on my lap takes stress of my neck and shoulders, and weight and heat off my legs. I like standing out with a style that is unique- the blue color really pops, and the design is sleek and unique.
