If Cal Tech escrow is part of Home Bay I highly recommend choosing a different escrow company. There are constant internal delays... Still waiting for dispursement, the sale recorded over 28 hours ago.

As Buyer As Buyer, Entered into a Contract with the Seller who listed the property with Home Bay, Contract was subject to a Mortgage, sent Earnest money to Home Bay's Escrow Agent, Lend Mark in Utah, Bank never approved my Mortgage, Appraisal rejected, Its been THREE Months now and Home Bay has failed to refund me my Earnest money....at this point, i'll have to sue Home Bay...these are BAD people...Scammers

Our property had better exposure with Home Bay. Our property had better exposure using Home Bay than it did using a conventional real estate listing. Being in a gated community has its perks, but when selling a home there is a down side. That is almost no drive by lookers except people already living in the community. You have to rely on multiple listing on the internet. We had more showings with Home Bay than with a standard real estate listing.

Home Bay will exceed your expectations Home Bay has a unique position in the marketplace and I was skeptical that they could deliver what they promised, but they did, and more. My broker, David was as responsive as if we were neighbors and handled everything beautifully. I had many questions and his expertise helped guide me to a fast, easy, successful close with more ease than I could have imagined. I wish I could give a six-star rating!

Horrible, stressful experience! Horrible, stressful experience! Rude "agents" attempt to push sellers into poor contracts with low offers. They insult the sellers and accuse them of being uncooperative. Very time consuming to sell a home this way, since buying agents call the seller due to HomeBay being unreachable. Unprofessional all the way. They break their own contract. Professional photos sucked, my own sold the home after they were fired.
