Once the rate was locked, the communication stopped until a couple of weeks later when it’s ready to sign. The experience would improve if there was an occasional status update or a way a customer can track online with perhaps target dates and percent complete.

GBIt's Just Okay So far the process of this cash out refi is going okay. I'm a little taken back by having to pay for the appraisal out of pocket. There are also more questions & documents that I've had to provide compared to my last refi a year or so ago. I wish I would have contacted my current lender to get a second quote but I didn't. I'm very curios to see what the final # is going to be.

GBSolicitation We kept getting your refinance letter and email. We’ve called several times but no answer. We’ve sent email and an appointment was set up but no call received. Made a follow up email. Finally, somebody called. Received an estimate, monthly payment was a little bit lower but we had to buy points. Informed loan officer “not interested” but we’re still getting solicited!
