GBDon't use this company Don't use this company. If you do some research you will see that a common complaint is that they do their best to hide their fees. This is 100% true. Let me just list the problems with this company. 1. The VP, Diego, straight up lied saying we had multiple phone calls and I said I wasn't interested in the fees. I chose not to watch a powerpoint presentation and nothing about fees were mentioned. We also only ever had one phone call. 2. The fees are HIGH. They take a large fee when you transfer the funds over. 3. They charge a % fee for any assets you have with them whether it's crypto or fiat. 4. They charge 4% per trade. That is an insane amount. They brag about being able to trade but with a 4% it would be very, very hard to make decent profits. Keep in mind this fee is just for 1 transaction. If you buy and then sell you are looking at 8%. Imagine getting a 10% gain on a trade, which is good, but have it end up being 2%. This fee is so far out of the norm. But that isn't the only barrier for trading. 5. Each trade can take 48 hours to complete. Crypto prices are volatile. There is no way to reliable trade it with a 48 hour window before the transaction goes through. Whether real exchanges you can buy and sell instantly(for very, very low fees btw). When trying to sell my crypto the fees made it that I had to keep making sells that were pennies because the fees made it impossible to sell 100% at a time. 6. Getting my money out of their account took weeks. First, they wanted me to get a medallion stamp thing or I had to snail mail them a copy of a transfer request. They did not require anything like this to start my account. It took them a few days after receiving it before they contacted me about doing a video verification call but the earliest appointment was a week away. I've transferred 401ks and IRAs before. This is the only company that did this. 7. When I originally signed up I asked if there were any fees for closing my account or pulling out money. I was told no. That was a lie. They charge a 300 dollar closing fee and I have to pay 35 dollars for them to send a check. That check will take 7-10 business days to arrive so it's not like they are paying for great shipping. Here is the deal. Don't use them at all. It costed me a lot of money. What I suggest doing is going with a self-custodian IRA. The one I chose is 15 dollars a month and that is the only fee. With that I basically can do whatever I want with the money whether it being transferring it to an exchange and basically doing the same thing as this company except everything is instant, has low fees and the fees aren't hidden. I can't rate this company low enough.

GBI've had an account since 2018 and… I've had an account since 2018 and could not be happier with my decision. I have watched other crypto IRA companies struggle with security risks and/or be shut down completely. During that time Bitcoin IRA hasn't had a single security or regulation issue.

GBComplex Login Issues Today, I loaded the Bitcoin IRA app onto my cell phone. No matter how often I attempted to log onto the site, I was refused entrance. Out of frustration, I phoned Bitcoin IRA in search of assistance. I was fortunate enough to have my call answered by Leslie Means. Leslie is ,both, a pleasant and patient customer service representative . I explained my situation and ,together, we worked to unravel the login mystery. To make a long story short, after an exhaustive amount of time and effort, we found that the problem had arisen when I first opened my account. I had initiated my online account with my PRIMARY email address when at the time, I was unable to SEND any correspondence by using that email address. Thus, in order for me to forward needed documents, it necessitated my creating another email account which would afford me the ability to send needed documents to finalize the account setup. Hence, by doing so, Bitcoin IRA had much of my paperwork tied to my SECONDARY email address (,the one which enabled my ability to forward necessary documents, ) when, as previously stated, I had setup my online access by using my "restrictive" PRIMARY email address. Therefore, my initial email issues had generated confusion on Bitcoin IRA's side.....MY FAULT, not their's ! It took Leslie and myself a fair amount to unravel the issues which had created this dilemma. However, Leslie never indicated any level of impatience and continually projected pleasantness throughout our conversation. She consistently displayed professional competency and a sincere desire to assist in resolving the issues.
