Great Experience To navigate through the complex forms, documents and at times hard to understand instructions the VA requires to try and get compensation for a loved one. American Veterans Aid does not tell you… American Veterans Aid does not tell you from the outset that they are merely a "let's-check-the boxes" outfit. They will do for you EXACTLY what the Veterans Administration will do for you FOR FREE ! But they want to charge you $2300 to begin the checklist - and they want the money UP FRONT. A veteran with any sense and gumption can do this in the same time frame as using their so-called "service."
