GBNationwide helps! Carl is the best! I spoke to a representative named Carl. He was friendly and was empathic about my issue as well as one's pet being a family member. He made clear that Nationwide is an insurance company who cares. There was a misanalysis on my claim and was not paid initially, and Carl went above and beyond to correct the process accordingly. Thank you, Carl! Companies need people like you who listens and sort through details instead of immediately turning down customers without investigating the issue.

GBExcellent coverage and customer service I have had our dog's policy for several years, but never needed to use it and therefore had forgotten just how much was covered. The coverage is really impressive under the My Pet Protection plan. Today, I called with questions about claims I will need to file for a recent diagnosis of a chronic condition, and the rep was so incredibly helpful and empathetic. Note: I had to file a claim for our other dog a few years ago, and everything went smoothly for that as well.

GBDisappointed in Service received I have to say I am disappointed in the service I have received this week. The last person I talked to yesterday it seem like I bother her and she was not happy about explaining to me how to submit proof of no other coverage for pet. When I called Monday checking on the claims that showed pending, I feel like I should have been told what was needed. I could have provided that information on Monday instead of yesterday.

Also, in my case, when my pet passed, they did not make it difficult to cancel. Cynthia, who handled my case, was the most empathetic and helpful person I’ve ever spoken to in insurance. GBComplete nightmare!! Complete nightmare!!! I wasted my money. I purchased the wellness plan and tried to have a routine dental cleaning done. After I filed my claim, four months later and multiple phone calls it was denied because the dog had mild tartar. All dogs have at least mild tartar. Nothing else was done except a simple cleaning. However, the mild tartar was labeled a “pre-existing” condition, and I was denied reimbursement. This is absurd that a simple cleaning could be denied under the wellness coverage. I wish I never agreed to have my payroll deductions for months for no effective wellness benefit, although this was promised numerous times by the sales rep. Do not waste your money or listen to slick sales people. This company sucks.
