GBVery slow claim response time In March I signed up for a new policy which included health and wellness and I submitted my claim 4/2 and it is a simple wellness check up and it is still in process. It is not that complicated of a claim and I will be submitting another wellness claim next week. I had a previous pet insurance for my other dobie and they would process claims immediately. I am second guessing my decision now. They did email me and stated they are taking a little longer than expected and might need additional info from my vet? I sent in all my paperwork from the vet wth??

GBPretty surprised I was really surprised that the whole claim process took so long. It's a good thing that I didn't need my reimbursement soon because I would have been out of luck. This was probably the longest time it ever took for me to receive my claim reimbursement in a timely manner. If this happens again then I'm going to shop elsewhere for a pet insurance product that has a quicker turn around with the processing of claims.

GBVery disappointed with my rate increase⦠Very disappointed with my rate increase with a 2 year old cat. Also, they sent me a quote lower than I am paying. I called on several occasions to check this out and basically, they said, just like people, as you age health insurance goes up. The person I spoke to at Pets Best today could not review policy with me. She said she could not see it. Not good customer service.

GBAbsolutely wonderful pet insurance Absolutely wonderful pet insurance. My boy was diagnosed with an osteosarcoma. Pets Best has supported us every step of the way. We were able to make decisions around his care without the financial burden.

GBNot worth the money and inconvenience⦠So so far it seems the review of claims is taking longer than a week. Also requesta for additional information on claims are inconsistent. I had two claims going, one for each of my pets who both got the exact same annual wellness exam both had itemized receipt. But one was reviewed asking for a document that was had more clear about amount. Last so far the amount reimbursed for wellness items are well under what paid only about 55 % of the total. So basically I would have saved money if I just paid out of pocket. But now I have to pay my premium and pay the difference with will end up totalled to more per year. I will not be renewing service next year.
