Excellent response to our claim Excellent response to our claim. We had to cancel our cruise due to a medical issue three days before our cruise. We filled out the paperwork and within 10 days the refund was in our bank account. Would not hesitate to do business with them again on our next cruise purchase.

We purchased trip cancelation insurance We purchased trip cancelation insurance. My wife's leg was injured before cruise. Downloaded medical form from AON and took to doctor during visit. AON reimbursed us for cost of canceled cruise since we were too late to get any refund from cruise line. Reimbursement was within a couple of weeks and had option to deposit funds into our checking account. I usually have trepidation when dealing with insurance because they typically seem to be more about collecting premium and hard to pay up when needed. AON was not that way with us which we were grateful for.

Easy appeal of denial While my claim was at first denied, it was based on inadequate information provided by the hospital. It was a very easy process to appeal the denial. After providing some additional information, my claim was approved and quickly paid.

PROMPT ATTENTION Our medical claim was submitted by the cruise boat medical department directly to the company. We didn't need to do anything. The claim was paid in full a few days after we returned home. I will always use AON. Highly recommended!

Medical emergency while traveling When you buy travel insurance it should cover what is stated. It shouldn’t be a long, drawn out process. Having to re-submit every few days with more information, or expanding on the information already given should not be part of the process. After weeks of this process when they decide to reimburse you for your expenses, it doesn’t let you submit how you want your reimbursement. They just send a check in the end. I may or may not add this insurance to any further trips.
