Absolutely the WORST company to deal… Absolutely the WORST company to deal with. So Sorry I talked my Mom into this. Now the family has to deal & fight them to get what was PAID For. After my mother paid into a long term care policy for almost 20 years so she could have extra care money when needed, they don't want to pay. She has been in assisted living over 2 years, recently moved to to extra care with more expenses, so we applied for the money to get the payments started, and this company has been jerking us around with stupid ridiculous request just to delay and avoid paying, since July, did app in June, AFTER WE PROVIDED ALL MEDICAL, LIVING, AND CARE PAPERWORK. Bad COMMUNICATION, STALLING, & INCOMPETENCE is all over this company, at least in the insurance dept. It is so obvious they don't want to pay out $4000 a month, which is what the policy CLAIMED IT WOULD DO 20 years ago. DO NOT USE MUTUAL of OMAHA !!! Also sorry to hear others having same type of problems.

Reverse mortgage I was interested in a reverse mortgage. Marsha Colantino was my first contact. She is very knowledgeable about reverse mortgages and explained things for me on my level of understanding. Marsha made the process very simple. Even after I received the reverse mortgage she has answered all questions that I have had. Marsha is a valuable asset to Mutual of Omaha.

Horrible short term disability policies… Horrible short term disability policies and a borderline scam. Customer service was a disorganized mess. I tried to file a claim and had to jump through so many hoops WHILE INCAPACITATED that I finally just gave up on receiving my benefits. I asked FOUR TIMES for my actual physical policy to be mailed to me and never received it. Do not use this company!

New customer experience My initial introduction to Mutual of Omaha was with Richard Wentz. I made the call after seeing an ad on TV for reducing the cost of my supplemental insurance. Richard enlightened me but I still needed the approval of my brother (we run everything by one another) Not able to locate Richards number I signed up with another agent. The timing was right. Since Richard Wentz did the foot work, I think he deserves acknowledgement.

Mutual of Omaha; not worthy Mutual of Omaha;I've been waiting half an hour for them to answer the phone, but they never do. They also never confirm claims or return calls. They try to collect memberships even when you're disabled, and there's no empathy or professionalism. It's terrible.
