Best SBA 7a Experience. Closed in 19 days! Best SBA 7a loan experience! (10 star) I gave SmartBiz my information, received a fair but not overwhelming number of lenders who contacted me. One lender (South Side Bank) had a different approach, asking to call, review their process, and learn if they could assist. I accepted. After a 20 minute phone call, they had my business. The next day, I uploaded my information. The SmartBiz Associate who was assigned to me (Leslie) was the best, keeping me informed of the status. On day 2, when my information was uploaded, Leslie gave me an estimated closing date, which was 18 days away! Each Day, I was informed of the loan status. On day 18, there were two documents missing. On day 19, documents received and the loan FUNDED! Amazing! Special thanks to Leslie, and to the lender, South State Bank. Other lenders quoted 45 - 60 days to close. This is my second SBA. The first took over 60 days. SmartBiz Loans and South State Bank were Excellent from start to close.
