GBAvoid North American Bancard Like the Plague: Agent or Merchant I called North American to reconnect as I was originally a successful agent with them years ago. I highly recommend you avoid them. Their level of customer service is a joke now and they have no empathy for their customers or agents. In addition, they closed my merchant account with no explanation costing me thousands of dollars. Finally, they put me on some list that prevented me from opening future merchant accounts. They cited no wrongdoings on my part just their right to close my account at will. They appear to work with Humboldt Bank now. I guess Humboldt isn't concerned about their reputation. Do a Google search and see all the complaints and negative issues with North American Bancard.

GBI'm filing a complaint with the FTC... I'm filing a complaint with the FTC.... Beware of the fraud they commit. After reviewing out business checking account, North American Bancard took monthly fees out in the amount of $840.65. We are a seasonal fireworks company. I send their machines back after the end of each season and canceled their services. They failed to document the cancellation and kept charging our business account.

GBFraudulent scammers Ask your merchant services provider if you see this name bankcard don't open an account. They stole $8000 from me, they closed my account without any explanations or notice causing me to lose money after I shipped my products. Avoid this it is fraud.

GBBad business practice I checked my bank statement and found a $300 debit by No American Bancard. Called and was told this was for new equipment which at the time I had not received and would be reversed if old equipment was returned. I provided UPS tracking receipt, no credit. After calling several times (disconnected 3 times) "further research is necessary". I was never informed as to this debit to my bank account and never gave permission for this transaction. Very frustrated and ready to check for a new processor.

GBI liked it better when it was “Phone… I liked it better when it was “Phone Swipe” I’m constantly having to put my email and PW in to open program. My minimums are rediculous and are flagged / meaning waiting for my funds. If you notice I’m not using your services nearly as much to process. It’s truly a royal pain when your simply trying to check Client out The chip reader never works so I use my old swipe instead
